11 things Ash wanted to know -
When did you start blogging and why?
My blogging history dates back to 2010. I was done with my college and waiting for the offer letter from my current employer. I started blogging to kill time. The purpose was more of a platform to vent out my feelings. I never shared by blog URL with anyone!
I went into a hiatus for a long period and resumed when someone told me I cannot write. More determined this time just to prove the person wrong. I started interacting with bloggers, made friends, learnt a lot and had fun! And so continues the story of my blog and blogging!

What makes life worth living?

A simple question with a difficult answer!! The small things that bring happiness is what makes my life worth living. Fighting and making up with my little sis, going through the class notebooks when I was in third standard, discovering a crumpled fifty rupee note from the pocket of my denims that came back from the laundry, re-reading old letters (yes, I grew up when there was not much of emails), suddenly finding that one lost ear-ring which completes my favorite pair, catching up with old friends and laughing over silly nothings... so many such small otherwise insignificant pieces join together to make my life significant.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

I am a lazy bum! On the occassions when I am not feeling lazy, I like to read fictions, paint, try my hand at photography and of course, blog!

Who was your first celebrity crush?

I could never zero down to one. It has always been a tie between Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly! As a teenager, I was crazy about them (I still am!). I had a notebook which contained photographs of both Sachin and Sourav, cut out from newspapers and magazines. I spoilt lot of sports magazine to fill up my precious diary, much to my dad's annoyance. The last page of the diary contained a tabulation sheet where I put tally marks each time I pasted a photograph! They almost ran equal.

What one quality would you give the most importance to while choosing (or having chosen) a life partner?

I have my individuality which I will never want to lose. My partner should have the mind to accept me the way I am. He should realise that like everyone, I am an amalgamation of good, bad and ugly. He should have the quality to love me in spite of the bads and uglies!

What do you like most about your job? (Do answer this even if you chose to be a home-maker, because that is a full-time job in itself!)

I like my job because of the amount of freedom I get. I do not like people interfering in the way I work. If left to do the job my way, I do it the best.

Are you happy with your present choice of career, or would you rather be doing something else?

I am happy, but I feel I would enjoy creating something more colourful than the plain black and white lines of code.

Do you follow your head or your heart more?

I am a bundle of emotions. And I hate it when there is a conflict between my heart and head. And most of the times it's my heart who wins!

If you were given the chance to rewind your life and do any one thing differently, what would that be?

I have no regrets with my life today. I guess I would let go of the chance to rewind my life back.

How would you react if you were being followed by a shady-looking character in a secluded place?

I would walk faster, without looking back, giving the stalker an impression that I do not acknowledge his presence. Had it not been a secluded place, I would have chosen confrontation.

Tell me about someone whom you've met in the strangest manner, who has then gone on to become an integral part of your life.

The way I met SP was not strange, by the strange fact was that I was oblivious of his existance, even after being classmates for over two months. From being complete strangers to closest friends, we have had a bumpy yet memorable journey.
