A thousand rainbows
we vowed to see,
Side by side,
Fingers entwined,
Hundreds seen, rest yet to see,
Have a little faith in me.
Dusky days,
no shadows cast,
Solace you seek
in my arms,
Through golden tresses I whisper to thee,
Have a little faith in me.
Sands of time
trickling down,
'No time for me'
you complain,
Kiss you soft, an earnest plea,
Have a little faith in me.
Our wrinkled faces shine so bright,
Side by side,
Eye to eye,
Till death do us apart,
a promise to thee,
Have a little faith in me.
Amazing. The second stanza is beautiful. :)
